Oil blotting paper is a small, thin, highly-absorbent sheet you press onto your face to lift excess oil (sebum) and shine in seconds — without adding any product or disturbing makeup. It comes in pocket-size booklets, compacts and packs, and is a makeup-bag staple for oily and combination skin.
How it works
Press a sheet onto a shiny area — forehead, nose, chin — hold for a second, and lift. The absorbent fibre draws up the oil sitting on the surface, leaving a fresher, more matte finish. It doesn't change how much oil your skin produces; it manages shine in the moment, which is why it's a quick mid-day refresh rather than a treatment.
