- Plastic case or compact with mirror — a premium, reusable feel that photographs well and suits retail and gifting; higher tooling cost.
- Booklet / card of sheets — tidy, travel-friendly presentation of multiple sheets.

Keep the hydrocolloid sealed from air and moisture. An adhesive that has breathed loses tack — the fastest route to "it didn't stick" reviews. Match the format to your channel, but never trade away the seal to save a cent.
Wear-time: print it, and prevent the top review complaint
The single most common bad review is a user leaving a saturated patch on all day, or applying it over serum so it won't stick. Both are solved on the pack:
- Apply to clean, dry skin — no serum or moisturizer under the patch.
- Wear 6–8 hours or overnight for a hydrocolloid; overnight for a dissolving microneedle so the tips dissolve.
- Change it when it turns white — the white, opaque look means it has absorbed fluid and is full.
- Intended use only — for surface blemishes, not open or broken wounds beyond the labeled use.

Shelf life, sterilization and labeling
A cosmetic hydrocolloid patch typically carries a 2–3 year shelf life in sealed packaging, and skin-contact patches are commonly sterilized by gamma irradiation. Confirm the shelf life, sterilization method and storage conditions with your manufacturer, and make sure the pack and labeling carry batch, expiry, ingredient (INCI) and any market-required symbols.
