Compare what the cited supplier actually supplies
CosMED’s ODM page describes microneedle and transdermal patch development. DERMATECH describes private-label hydrocolloid, hydrogel and microneedle formats. Neither description alone confirms the final packaged format of the chitosan press-activated dual-chamber patch.
ChitoLytic describes chitosan material supply. Delta ModTech describes coating, converting and packaging equipment. Match the supplier’s role to the procurement brief rather than treating every patch-related page as a finished-product factory.

Fungal versus shellfish origin
Request the actual material’s origin, grade, INCI and batch documentation. Origin and finished-product claims must match the selected project; a general discussion of fungal chitosan does not confirm its use in every patch.
Development evidence to discuss after NDA
- Project code, proposed chamber structure and activation concept.
- Material origin and each phase’s function.
- Development milestones and which tests or samples, if any, are available.
- Stability, package compatibility, activation and finished-product assessment plan.
- IP evidence and commercial terms only when established for the project.
None of this checklist is a promise that those deliverables already exist. The NDA opens a project discussion; commercial readiness must be established separately.
For US projects, intended use and claims matter to product classification. Review the FDA explanation of cosmetic and drug classification. A factory certificate, ingredient name or nominal needle height does not establish finished-product authorization.
