Current project scope

For carrageenan/agar hydrogel eye patches, gel preparation, casting, cutting, filling and packaging take place in YANSE COS's own Fujian factory. Microneedle, chitosan and bio-cellulose/CNF eye-care routes have different specifications and quotation units; select the route before confirming a sample or order. For dissolving microneedle under-eye patches, specify left/right geometry, needle count per patch, active loading and pairs per retail pack.

Count and unit

For the microneedle eye-patch route only, the MOQ is counted in pairs: 3,000 pairs means 6,000 individual under-eye patches. Needle count is a separate specification and must state whether it is per patch or per pair.

Sample approval

Standard microneedle mould options have nominal needle heights of 300, 350 or 450 μm; 350 μm (MN-MJ-01-F) is the usual option. Finished needle count per individual eye patch, pair total, tolerances and inspection results are confirmed on the selected cut-patch drawing and specification. Confirm matrix, active loading, wear instructions and protective tray/sachet in the signed specification.

Certificate scope

The published ISO 13485 scope concerns medical acne patches; it does not establish certification of microneedle eye patches. Request the applicable SKU and manufacturing documents.

Order definition

The starting MOQ for microneedle eye patches is 3,000 pairs per SKU for stock shapes and standard packs. One pair contains two under-eye patches. Specify the number of pairs per retail box separately; custom tooling, formula and packaging minimums are confirmed in the quotation.

Classification

Classification depends on the final product, intended use, claims and destination market. Ingredient concentration or needle height alone does not establish cosmetic, drug or device status.
